Vulnerable Situations in the Classroom

The Covid-19 pandemic confronts us with the vulnerability of our health, but no less important is psychological well-being. In this contribution I explore possible strength(s) – persons and religion(s). First, introduce work theologian Caroline Gustavsson who distinguishes between: “experienced vulnerability,” “narrated vulnerability” “induced vulnerability.” As examples illustrations these concepts, focus on voices primary school pupils, secondary pupils a RE teacher. classes it stated that religion(s) is/are vulnerable because there ‘proof’ God exists, or con-versely scriptural narratives are about ‘real’ things. By touching upon experiences young people, using current-day expressions metaphors, persons, can turn into strength.
